From the bottom of a silo, looking up, all you see is light. But from above, looking down, all you see is darkness. This contrast reminds us that perspective matters — not just in photography, but in life.
At One Toad Photography, I strive to capture the world from angles that challenge the ordinary. Whether it’s a drone soaring over a football field or a quiet moment inside a silo, every viewpoint tells a different story.

In today’s America, we’ve lost sight of each other. Hatred and division have clouded our vision. We forget that our neighbors — regardless of background — are Americans too, not enemies. The real divide isn’t between us, but between the people and those in power who hoard resources, wealth, and opportunity.

Congress receives annual raises. Yet minimum wage remains stagnant. Families once thrived on a single income — now both parents work multiple jobs just to survive. Trickle-down economics and tariffs have failed to bridge the gap. Instead, the divide between rich and poor has widened steadily since the 1950s.

So what can we do? We can start by changing our point of view. By looking at life from the inside out — not just from the top down. By seeing each other in the light, not the shadows.

Photography is my lens into that truth. And I invite you to see it with me. If you find yourself angry, frustrated, pushed to the edge, and about to blow… Take some time to calm down, take deep breaths, and don’t do anything until you’re calm and collected. Imagine something peaceful, go to your happy place, and you’ll make better choices.
