Halloween was actually scary. Creepy noises, weird shadows, and strangers in bizarre costumes kept popping up. Mom and Dad got to sit by a warm fire, but Willow, and I were stuck outside freezing. Reggie was fine—he had some kind of fancy coat like he’s the king of the backyard. Typical.
The only good thing? Willow. My brave, warm, snuggly sister. Every time something freaked me out—and trust me, it was a lot—I jumped on her like she was a heated blanket. She didn’t even mind. She just let me hide behind her like she was my personal bodyguard. I love her.
But those collars? They’re monsters. I was doing my job, barking to let everyone know the neighbor was walking their dog. The collar made a weird noise. I barked again. It buzzed like a bee. I barked louder. Then it bit me! I swear it jumped around my neck like it had teeth. Now, every time I try to protect the house, it does that. I never know when it’ll randomly zap me like it did Reggie that one time. It’s not fair. I’m just trying to help!
Halloween? 0 out of 10. Would not recommend. But Willow? 100 out of 10. Best sister ever.
